Rep. Pete Aguilar says Trump’s DOJ is “intimidating California election officials.” My answer:
“There is zero confidence in California elections unless the DOJ has in-depth visibility and the votes are checked against social security roles, since those were recently cleaned.”
Checking isn’t intimidation.
I worked Customs. You check the paperwork against the cargo. Folks doing it right never sweated an inspection. Same thing in IT. You reconcile the records against the source before anybody signs off. That’s just doing the job.
Voter rolls get old. People move. People die. Compare the lists, flag what doesn’t match, fix it.
If California’s rolls are clean, a federal look proves it and everybody can relax. If they fight the look, ask yourself why.
Confidence gets earned. You don’t get it by telling people to quit asking.
More from me on this:
At least this time the admin is serious about live monitoring and recording in places like California who have legalized election cheating in direct violation of the constitution and established federal law.
80% of Americans are tired of insecure elections; do you really think you want to fight the will of a supermajority of even your own party during the midterms?
Thank God for unintelligent opposition…
