That was me quoting @Sassafrass_84 calling out a so-called conservative who’s been telling people not to vote.
Her point, and I’m with her on it: our problem is not enough people vote in midterms. Stay home and Democrats take power back. Simple as that.
Am I disappointed in Republicans? Sure. I’ve been loud about Thune since January, but being mad at your own side is not a reason to hand them the keys to our own demise.
Telling people to sit it out isn’t holding anybody accountable. It’s quitting, and talking others into quitting with you. That becoming the problem in order to rage about why the problem wasn’t fixed… Pure idiocy!
You want better leadership? Primary them. Call them. Vote.
Vote red. Up and down the ballot.
Daayum.
Same message I keep repeating:
This is not the time for doomers… This is the time for motivation and “get out the vote” efforts.
All doomers are doing right now is trying to suck the life out of a movement.
Is that what you really want to be doing this close to the midterms?
You’re losing my trust when you chose to focus on this in the last weeks of the midterms…
You can stop any time and help push instead…
